Asian Dish (MEE GORENG) a.k.a. Fried Noodles Recipe

What i am going to share with you is a recipe of a dish that is called Mee Goreng in Malay and which is known as Fried Noodles, the recipe was passed down to generation from my late grandmother, i can say it’s our favorite dish of all time, we will eat this during an event like parties, thanks giving and simply at home when we are hungry!

It’s originated from the a Chinese dish called “chow mein” and believed to have been introduced by Chinese immigrants in Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore. It’s also similar to Japanese fried noodle called ”yakisoba”.

There different types of variations, Indonesian love spicy food, so does Malay in Malaysia and Singapore, so they will add more ”Sambal”( a hot relish made with vegetable or fruits and spices) and they will also add meats, vegetables to make it taste better!

Ok i think I am done explaining. =)

Lets start with ingredient A:

– 6 Red Chili’s (Chopped)

– 6 Green Chili’s (Chopped)

– 4 Onions (Chopped)

– 4 cloves of garlic (Chopped)

Blend all ingredient A in a blender with 1/2 cup of water. Blend till it forms a thick paste.
